Do you watch the HGTV show Fixer Upper?

If you don’t, leave this post and go watch an episode. I promise you’ll fall in love with Chip & Joanna in just one episode. They’re that awesome.

Their brand is called Magnolia (homes, bakery, market, etc). Online, they have a store called Magnolia Market. There you’ll find all of Joanna’s favorite throws, vases, jewelry, and PILLOWS.

I was browsing the Magnolia Market website when I came upon this…

HELLO BEAUTIFUL!

I instantly thought, I have to crochet a version of that. Like now.

I’d been wracking my brain lately with what to make with the new Lion Brand New Basic 175 yarn (it’s seriously like a cloudy squishy ball of yummy yarn) and I could see it in my head – a squishy bobble pillow just like the Magnolia one!

I wanted a smaller version of Joanna’s pillow with a bit simpler design. And I had to make the back fun too. Because that’s just what I do.

I hope you all enjoy this Magnolia Bobble Pillow, it’s got that perfect farmhouse look that is so typical of the Gaines’! And if you haven’t tried the New Basic 175 yarn, you need to get your hands on it. Check it out here on LionBrand.com!

You can also grab the kit to make this pillow, including all the yarn you need from Lion Brand – it’s actually on sale now for 20% off the retail price! Get your kit HERE.

Good morning! I have been working on the Magnolia Bobble pillow, and between the written instructions and the graph there is a problem ( to me or may be one ). I am using the written but row 14 is not on the graph and it messes up the diamond shape. I also noticed the picture of the large diamond side has a small inside and large outside diamond but the graph only has the large diamond. I haven’t done the written instructions on that side yet, but am wondering. I do better with written but am getting better with graphs and this one is a simple one, I can refer to it pretty easily. Also on the yarn, New Basic 175, I am liking it but have to be very carefull frogging it! Thanks ?
