Ohhhhh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful and since there’s no place to go – let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
That song is always so romantic to me, staying inside by the fire while flurries drift in outside – magical!
It’s a real shame that I don’t live somewhere it snows, that’s my favorite kind of weather! (Perhaps is my favorite because I never have to shovel it)
So I had to bring a cute little snowflake down to Florida on my tree!
I could see a mini (or even full-size) tree covered in these simple snowflakes and it would just glisten with beauty.
And bonus – they are super fast and easy to make. My favorite kind of project.
THE TRADITION: Enjoy the snow with your families! If you live somewhere where you’re fortunate enough to go sledding, skating, or have a snowball fight – go to town!
I, however, will be staying in to watch one of my favorite Christmastime classics, White Christmas! Nothing says snow in Florida like hot chocolate on the couch with White Christmas on the screen!
You could also have a “snowball” fight with white yarn pom poms! Oh, what fun!

Ashleigh – I’m new to crocheting, and I love your blog and youtube channel. I hope you had a wonderful holiday! I know it is past Christmas, but I”m really trying to make the snowflake ornament. I don’t think I understand round 3’s direction (I only have 2 kind of points at the end of my 1st flake post). I don’t think I follow round 4 either, but I’m stuck on round 3. Thanks for your help!
