30 Minute Beginner Crochet Slouchy Hat

March 6, 2017 by Ashleigh

This crochet slouchy hat is the easiest pattern you’ll find!

Not only does it use basic stitches that are easy for the entry-level crocheter, but it uses a bulky weight yarn that works up in a snap. This pattern takes me about 30 minutes to crochet! (Even for a new crocheter, it should only take about an hour to make)

Quick projects are the best projects & any wearable that can be crocheted in the time it takes me to watch an episode of Parks & Recreation is a smash hit in my book.

Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see a video tutorial for this one!

Get going on this pattern and you’ll finish up before you know it.

NOTE: If you don’t have any bulky weight yarn on hand, you can hold together 2 strands of worsted weight yarn and follow the pattern as written to achieve a similar look/fit.

EDIT: I’ve now got a video tutorial for this easy hat, enjoy!
