Mostly because I love sugar cookies and decorating them with my family around the holidays.
Right now I’m on a sugar cleanse (no sugar for the month of October) and I’ve been good so far – but these little crochet cookies are calling my name!
They are super cute and really easy to make, they work up so quickly and are almost good enough to eat!
I embellished my cookies with yarn sprinkles, chocolate chips, swirls, and frosting but you can embellish your cookies however you like! Use beads, buttons, or other yarn from your stash!
THE TRADITION: {big surprise here} Bake something sweet with your sweet family!
At my house the holidays are all about baking and sharing in that time together. We all wind up with flour on our noses, yummies in the oven, and sprinkles in every nook and cranny.
And I’m fine with it! This tradition is SO worth the extra vacuuming I’ll do later.
