How to Crochet a Hexagon

April 20, 2017 by Ashleigh

Crochet hexagons are a classic, timeless look that will never get old. And this tutorial will teach ya how to make hexies in ANY SIZE!

They work up so SO fast and you can make afghans, pillows, table runners, scarves, you name it!

Try these out and work them up with fun color combinations – hexies really shine when you get creative with color. Have you ever heard of the color swatch website Design Seeds? It’s kind of my secret weapon. I use it for every color combo help idea moment. I love this website!

See the handy video tutorial on how to make these cuties & make some soon.

And there’s a left handed version available on my YouTube channel here!

I tried one of the hexagons and couldn’t believe how fast it took me to finish one up. I put it in a plastic bag marked “Hexagons” & will come back to it when I am done with my current WIP’s. Thanks so much for sharing this pattern. It is going to be Great for making some scarfs that I donate to a local shelter for the homeless
