Yes, it’s correct. Because of the first Row being off of the foundation chain, it mucks things up a bit for the first block. By doing the first block with 17 rows, it made all of my blocks look even. Hope this helps!

Can you please advise on the following: per the pattern rows 2-18 will be in the first color and rows 19-33 will be in the second color (and repeated down the strip). By my math this makes 17 rows in the first color and only 15 rows in the second color. Is this correct? Thank you. The blanket looks beautiful. Unfortunately I could not find blush at my local craft store, darnit, but I am going to make one in blue.

I love the blanket you made. The colors are great. I am going to attempt to make one . i would like to make a larger one maby in a bedspread size. ( queen or king size) . i was wondering if you knew how much yarn. What is the ounces you use for making that blanket?
