I absolutely adore all your patterns! I have just started this top, and was wondering if you could tell me the length of the chain that you start with for a size medium. Would it be the same dimensions as listed above for the “length across back?” I just want to make sure it is big enough before getting too far in.

You may have to bunch up your stitches a bit for them all to fit (depending on size) but you should be just fine! Luckily that flexible one I used is on Amazon Prime, should you need it 😉

But I was wondering about the hook… I have the straight J 6 MM Tunisian hook. Will the straight hook work for this project, or do I need the hook with the string?
