Row 3 is missing some instructions. It was coming out wrong, so after several tries and several frogs I watched the video and you definitely left out instructions in the written pattern. Also, it would be so helpful if you indicated how many stitches are needed to get to the last stitch in each row. When it says “dc to last”, that is a bit unclear. This is supposed to be an easy pattern, but beginners need it to be more clear.

After watching the video there is a typo on row 3 after the ch 2 sp - the directions say "into ch 2 space, DC, ch 1, sk 1 and so on, it should say "into ch 2 space, ch 1, sk 1, DC, sk 1 and so on. There's a DC in there that doesn't make sense

Certainly! I would use a smaller hook (try out different ones to find the right gauge or go with what your yarn label recommends) and just add on a few sets of the pattern repeats until you reach about the same dimensions as mine. Other than that, the pattern should be followed as written. Hope this helps!

This is a beautiful pattern. Just wondering if it could be made with a lighter weight yarn (2 or 3). If so, how would the pattern need to be adjusted? Thanks so much for your help.

You're exactly right, Hannah! Since you're working into the Ch 2 space with 2 additional stitches on each round that's adding in two more at the point and one each additionally on each end of the triangle :)

I am new to crochet and your pattern is working up beautifully! I just have a question out of curiosity. How do you get 4 increases per row? Is it 1 in the first stitch, 2 in the point on the triangle, and 1 in the last stitch?? Is it increased by 2 in the middle because of the chain 2? Just curious!
