You certainly could! Assuming you’re picking up the same color on the same side of the work, which isn’t always the case. I’m sure you could make that work though!

Is it possible to carry the alternate colors alongside the edge of the work and pick them up as need be? Doesn’t this eliminate the need to weave in ends upon completion of the block? Thanks so much for this new series, your video’s will help so very much.

Hello – this is my first time making a project with multiple colors. What do I do with the loose ends at each row? What’s the best way to weave them in so they don’t unravel?

Hi Pamela! I have no idea at the moment, at least 25. But probably more! I foresee making about 25 swatches, give or take, and then continuing to make swatches as I create new stitch tutorials and making the blanket bigger over time. 🙂
