Tamara over at Moogly Blog has written an amazing book full of crochet patterns, easy to follow instructions, and big, wonderful color photos. It really is a joy to read cover to cover!
It’s called Quick Crochet for the Home: 20 Projects to Liven Up Every Room & you need to pick yourself up a copy.
This book of patterns has tons of home decor patterns for every room in the house – who knew you could crochet so many beautiful things for every room of the house? They make great gifts too!
Some of my favorites were her pillows and blankets – such beautiful takes on classic crochet projects. These aren’t your grandmother’s home decor projects. They’re modern, pretty, and easy to make.
When I saw the hanging door organizer on the cover of the book, I knew I had to make one for my craft room! Tamara uses hers for a phone, sunglasses, and “on the way out the door” kind of items, but I’m using mine to keep my favorite scissors, yarn needles, and frequently used hooks at my fingertips.
It’s just what I needed to corral all of these little notions that I use daily.
Tamara’s talent and passion for crochet really shines through in this book! It’s got tons of great pattern instructions, charts, big photos, and inspiration. Her blog is one to follow, and this book is one to read.

Do you have any information on crochet for kids? I have a seven year old asking for it.
