Happy Thursday!

I’ve got a sweet surprise for you today, a treat indeed! (heh)

I’ll be releasing this week’s Bake Shop Blanket Series Square a day early.

That’s right, you don’t have to wait until Friday – let’s get this party started right now!

MY OTHER VIDEOS

So I could write about how I’m a giving, generous person who wants you all to have this pattern early but if I may, I’d like to be honest. I simply will be busy tomorrow. But fret not for I’ve planned ahead and won’t be leaving any of you lovelies in the lurch!

ANYWHO

This week’s square is a sweet little candy. This guy reminds me of the no-name brand kind of candies my grandma always had around her house. You know, those ones that you never knew quite what they were and tasted kind of minty and kind of sweet? Maybe that was just my grandma.

Either way there are lots of options with this little cutie! You could make it in red and white for a peppermint/Christmasy square or make a blanket of all different colored candies, so many options here!

Here is the handy video tutorial, as always:

PATTERN:
Materials:
-Worsted weight yarn (I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Pink and White)
-Size H 5mm crochet hook
-Tapestry needle

Rounds 2-3: Continue in this same manner – in corners 3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC, CH 1 and in all other CH spaces 3 DC, CH 1, finish off, weave ends
